BlindHow iPad2 Incentive Program

BlindHow will be implementing an incentive program starting July 1, 2011 to encourage community members to sign up, make comments, rank content, and become a contributor by submitting articles, videos and audio. Prizes such as itune cards, Apple TV and iPad 2 will be rewarded during the incentive time.

At the end of each month a drawing will be held for those that participate in this contest. For each task completed your name will go in the drawing according to the point values on each task. the task list will be updated soon with their corresponding point value.

To participate in the program, you must
1) Register at blindhow.com.  To go directly to the registration or sign in page click here
2) Send name, phone number and email used to register here. You will be issued a unique number that we will use to identify you during the incentive program.
3) Every time you do something to “earn points” you must: submit name, date, and description of (example: John Smith, 7/3/2011, made comment and gave article 4 stars on “Is Your Child Age Appropriate” article") to ____@blindhow.com. In the subject line put your full name and number we issued you.

Ways to earn points!
*Create an account on the website
*Listen to the tutorial on how to use the website
*Email what is your favorite feature of the website and explain why.
*Email one thing you could not do prior to a tutorial on this website. Please explain.
*Email how this website has expanded your understanding of the abilities of those who are blind.
*Submit a question through community questions for other users to answer.
*Email the administrator at least one suggestion for improvements to the website.
*Read, watch, or listen to 3 different content and email to support@blindhow.com the names of the content you commented on.
*Show up to either of the two meetings at the National Convention for a demo of this website.
*Listen to at least one tutorial and write 4 sentences on what tutorial you chose and how successful you were following the instructions.
*Write at least 4 sentences on how this website has been helpful to you. Give specific examples.
*Answer a question in the community questions.
*Refer a friend, tell us the name of the friend you referred. This person must sign up to have an account.
*Add content from another source.
*Send an email to Ron Gardner, expressing how helpful this site has been for you and cc admin@blindhow.com
*Submit original content
