NFB-NEWSLINE for the Blind
NFB-Newsline for the Blind is a free nationwide service for blind or visually impaired people. It brings newspapers to you via your telephone. It is a newspaper service accessed by telephone and is available to people who cannot read print. Currently more than 280 newspapers from throughout the nation and eight magazines are available to you free by calling a toll-free number with your telephone. There are now five Utah papers that can be accessed. Associated Press Utah, Deseret Morning News, Park City Park Record, Provo Daily Herald and Salt Lake. Tribune. The service also allows you to have newspaper and magazine articles emailed to you in Dazie format. Soon you'll also be able to use your computer to listen to newsline content just like you do over the phone.
